Terms of Use

These are the terms you agree to when you use Master Mental Ability. They say what you get, what you pay, what happens when your access runs out, and what we can and cannot do. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
They cover the Master Mental Ability Android app, the web app at grow.mastermentalability.in, and this website. In these terms, “MMA”, “we” and “us” mean Master Mental Ability; “you” means the person using it.

The short version
- You buy days of access, not a subscription. Access expires on its own. Nothing is ever taken from your account automatically — there is no auto-renewal and no standing instruction on your card or UPI.
- New accounts get free days to try it. The app tells you how many when you sign up.
- The questions are ours, and they are licensed to you to practise with — not to copy, print, sell or republish.
- One account is one person. Sharing a sign-in is the one thing that will get an account closed.
- You can delete your account at any time, and you do not need the app to ask.
1. Who can use MMA
MMA is built for students preparing for Indian competitive exams, and many of them are at school. You may use it if you can register with a working mobile number.
If you are under 18, you should use MMA with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, and they should read these terms too. A parent or guardian may ask us at any time to close a child's account and erase the practice on it — they do not need the app, the password or the phone to ask. See Delete your account.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in to yourself. You sign in with a one-time password sent to your mobile number, so anyone who can read your messages can reach your account.
2. What your account is, and the one-student rule
An account belongs to one student. Your practice history, your review schedule and your progress are personal to you, and the app's recommendations are worked out from them — two people sharing one account get worse practice, not more of it.
On Android, a phone is set up for one student. The first account to sign in on a device claims it, and the app will refuse a second student on that same device while practice from the first is still stored on it. This is a current limitation of how practice is kept on the phone, and the app offers a way to hand the device over — it clears what is on the device first. If you need two students on one phone, write to us.
3. Free days, and what they are for
A new account gets a set number of free days of full access, so you can find out whether the method works for you before paying anything. The number of free days is shown in the app when you sign up, and it is the number that applies to your account. We may change it for new accounts in future; a change never shortens free days already granted to an existing account.
You are not asked for a card to start, and nothing happens at the end of the free days except that paid content stops opening until you buy access.
4. Plans, prices and what a payment buys
A payment buys a number of days of access. It does not buy a set of questions, and it does not buy a licence that lasts forever.

All prices are in Indian rupees and include any taxes that apply. A “3-month” pass is exactly 90 days, a “6-month” pass 180 and a “1-year” pass 365 — stated in days so there is never a question about which months were meant.
Days stack, they do not overwrite. If you buy again while you still have access left, the new days are added to the end of what you already have. You never lose time by paying early.
The price you pay is the price shown on the screen at the moment you pay. We may change prices; a change never affects access you have already bought.
5. There is no subscription, and nothing renews by itself
MMA does not take a recurring payment. Every payment is a single payment you choose to make. We do not set up a standing instruction, an auto-debit, a mandate or a recurring charge on your card, your UPI or your bank account, and we cannot charge you again without you going through checkout yourself.
There is nothing to cancel. When your days run out, access simply stops. If you want to carry on, you buy again — and if you do not, nothing happens and nothing is taken.
6. When access ends
Your access ends on the day it expires. We warn you inside the app seven days before, so the day does not arrive as a surprise.
There is no grace period. On the day it expires, paid content stops opening — including on a phone that is offline. We are deliberate about this: a grace period that works offline cannot be closed again, and a paywall that can be avoided by turning off the internet is not a paywall.
Your account and your practice history are not deleted when access expires. They wait. If you buy again a month later, your streak, your review schedule and everything you have answered are still there.
7. Payments
Payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card number, UPI ID and bank details go to them and never reach us — we are never shown them and we never store them. What we keep is the order reference, the amount and which plan it was. See the Privacy Policy.
Access is granted when the payment is confirmed to us, not when your bank shows the debit. This is usually within seconds. If money has left your account and your access has not moved within 30 minutes, write to us with the order reference or the payment reference and we will sort it out. Do not pay twice.
If a payment is reversed, disputed or charged back after access was granted, we may withdraw that access until the matter is settled.
8. Refunds and cancellation
Access is delivered immediately and in full when you pay, so a purchase cannot be cancelled once it is made, and we do not refund unused days. This is exactly why every account gets free days first: you are meant to decide whether MMA works for you before any money changes hands, not after.
We do refund, in full, in these cases:
- You were charged twice for the same thing. Tell us and we return the duplicate.
- Money left your account and access was never granted, and we cannot grant it. We return the payment.
- You were charged an amount other than the price shown on the screen. We return the difference, or the whole payment if you would rather not continue.
Where a refund is due, we start it within 3 working days of agreeing it. It then takes as long as your bank takes — usually 5 to 7 working days — and it goes back to the same card, UPI ID or account it came from. We cannot send a refund anywhere else.

9. Scholarships and free access
MMA offers free access to students who cannot pay. You apply from inside the app, and you need an account to do it — there is no way to apply without one. We read the application and the documents you send, and we decide.
A scholarship is granted at our discretion, for a period we set, and it can be extended or not extended. We may withdraw a grant if the application turns out to be untrue. Applying does not oblige us to grant anything, and not being granted one is not a judgement about you — it usually means the money ran out that month. Nobody outside MMA is shown your application or your documents.
10. The content is licensed to you, not sold
The questions, the explanations, the figures, the method, the words on these pages and the apps themselves belong to us. While your access is live, you have a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own practice. That is a generous licence for what it is for and a narrow one for anything else.
So, plainly — you may not:
- Copy, screenshot in bulk, scrape, download or re-type the question bank, in whole or in any substantial part.
- Republish, sell, share, print or distribute our questions or explanations, on a website, in a PDF, in a coaching class, in a WhatsApp or Telegram group, or anywhere else.
- Share your sign-in, or let anyone else use your access.
- Take the apps apart — decompile them, reverse-engineer them, or work around the protection on the content, the licence or the paywall.
- Use automated tools against the app or the API, or try to pull content faster or in greater volume than practising it would.
Content is delivered to the app in an encrypted form, licensed to your install. Defeating that protection is a breach of these terms whatever the method, and it is the clearest way there is to have an account closed.
Your own words stay yours. Notes you write on a question are yours; we store them so the app can show them back to you, and we do not publish them. If you tell us a question is wrong, we use what you tell us to fix it — that report outlives your account, with you removed from it, because a wrong answer key has to stay fixable.
11. Using MMA properly
Do not use MMA to break the law, to interfere with the service or the servers, to get into an account that is not yours, or to upload anything harmful or anything you have no right to upload.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — most often for shared sign-ins or for pulling content — and we may do it without notice where the breach is ongoing. If we close an account for a breach, we do not refund the unused days. If we close or suspend an account by mistake, we put it back and add the days you lost.
12. What MMA promises, and what it does not
What we promise: to run the service with care, to fix what we can when it breaks, and to take the content seriously — every question is written, checked and corrected by us, and we fix a wrong answer key as fast as we hear about it.
What we do not promise:
- A result in an exam. MMA trains reasoning and it is used by students sitting NTSE, NMMS, SSC, RRB, banking, defence, CAT and others. Nothing here is a guarantee of a score, a rank, a selection or a scholarship, and anyone who promises you one is selling you something else.
- That we are the conducting body. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to NCERT, SSC, the Railway Recruitment Boards, IBPS, the UPSC, the IIMs, any State or UT education department or any other exam authority. Exam names are used only to say what the practice is for. Dates, eligibility and pattern on this website are our reading of the official notice, and the official notice is the authority — always confirm at the conducting body's own site before you rely on anything.
- That the service is never down. We will keep it up as well as we can, but no service is perfect, and a phone, a network or a provider can fail.
- That every question is flawless. They are written by people. When one is wrong, report it from inside the app — that is the fastest route to it being fixed for everybody.
Except where Indian law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability to you for anything connected with MMA is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for an exam outcome. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited — and nothing here takes away a right you have as a consumer under Indian law.
13. Changes to the service and to these terms
MMA is actively built and it will change. Features arrive, and occasionally one is withdrawn. We will not take away access you have already paid for. If we ever stop the service altogether, we will give notice and refund the unused part of any access you have bought.
If we change these terms we will change the date at the top, and the terms you bought under continue to apply to access you have already bought. That is the part that protects you, and it does not depend on our reaching you.
14. Ending it
You can stop at any time, and you can delete your account and your practice yourself — from the app, or by writing to us if you no longer have it. See Delete your account for exactly what goes and what stays. Deleting an account does not refund unused days.
15. Law, and where a dispute goes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chandigarh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
That is about a dispute with a business. It does not stop a student or a parent complaining to the consumer forum where they live — no clause can, and §12 says the same thing about the rest of these terms.
Write to us first. Almost everything that reaches a lawyer could have been settled by an email, and we answer ours. If something has gone wrong, tell us — we would rather fix it than win it.
